Weird noise coming out near the rearview mirror area

I noticed some odd rumbling sound (really quiet) coming out of the rearview mirror area yesterday when i stopped to open my garage door. After turning off the car completely I still heard the same noise.

Does anyone have any idea what it is and if I need to bring it in?
