Yeah I know... But since I can't even find one here, I figured I might aswell ask you since you offered to ship to another member because it is quite cheap over there. I understand that it's quite a lot of hassle... But hey, if you never ask you'll never know right !?

Do you have instructions to use aftermarket wplamps? Do you still have error in dash or were you able to add resistor.

Hi Chris- I too am in QC, Canada. Loving my used 350! I have a question though that may lead me to make a formal inquiry with my dealer. I have a 2011 ½ MY with the lighting package that according to the brochure online, included the basic rearview camera. I have the upgraded Command with GPS/larger screen as well. But no camera was included. I have a black plastic cover where the camera should be. Do you think I might be prewired for one for an easier install?

Oh damn, you blew past my entire project, just with the IWC. Respect.
Everyone needs a IWC watch right..?
Bought the clock from a SL65 R231 and the cover from a R172 and started to cut it out.
Bracket cut out and the new hole for it starting to take shape.
Bracket finetrimmed and I added a chromelist for that final luxury touch and then test fitted it by holding it in place. The I did the new hole for the lightsensor that I had to move and did the final mounting and glued it in place.
Look of the rear and then Finnihed and installed. Conected to 12 volt, groung and canbus.
Some nightshoots before it was finnished in place.
I think this is the first GLK with a analouge watch in the world. :P

Not so. I have read and re-read Chris The Swede's illustrated, well described challenge over and over again. Much respect. My simple thoughts were that the prev owner on my 350 optioned the camera off at the dealer last minute. I am hoping for an easier fix than rewiring my car for something that should have been there all along. The amazing transformations captured have made many of us drool as we love our older GLKs so much but would kill for a few simple redos cosmetically and a few extra options that were never offered. But that's life isn't it?

Haha, all your parts are not available on MB sites in the US! Anyone know of a site that sells parts from all over the world?

Clean!
Took a phoneshoot of the now finnished interior. All facelift door panels in place. Added a few aluminium parts ad well to make it a bit more excusive looking wich I think looks OEM and not tacky..Like the buttons for the seats and speaker frames... AMG color cluster is not in here though. On the way back to me after service done on it. I will add sport pedals as well soon.
All new bumpers and headlights are also in place. Need to take som good pic of it though.
