2013 GLK350 4Matic Rear Suspension
New here, just trying to help a friend that is between jobs. She has a 2013 GLK 350 4Matic that has a bent part on the rear suspension. I amtrying to find the name of the part and some info on replacement. It is the bent strut to the front of the sway-bar. Looking at the car it looks like I will be unable to remove the forward bolt for replacement. Will the complete rear suspension need to be lowered to remove the bolt?

You might want to start at the further end of the tie rod, unbolt it and then move it towards the shock and undo the bolt on the hub-side. Flip the tie rod 90 degree counter-clockwise and it should come out without unbolting everything else. Just raising up that corner on the jack should give you enough space.

The problem I see is with the bolt on far end. The head is to the right and I will only have about 1" to slide the bolt out. I think I may need to lower the hole rear suspension to get the bolt out. Just looking for ideas. Also the part you showed has a large and small bushing, the one I plan to remove the bushings are the same on both sides. Thanks again.
