I swear I used to be able to just toggle the rear wiper switch to the bottom setting (technically a wash setting) to do one quick wipe WITHOUT juice coming out. Now it seems to squirt the fluid and do one pass.

Is the only way to cycle the wiper without washer fluid really to turn it ON then turn it OFF with the hard click/switch?

Unfortunately yes. You have to click the switch up at least one position.



Or... turn on front windshield wipers and put the vehicle into reverse... and you'll get a dry wipe.
