To quote previous thread contributors:
I got an email back from the company and the price from them is a lot cheaper and looks like $799, i asked about the error codes and they said they fixed the problem and supplied resistors. From what I've read the resistors need to be installed out of the head light as they get very hot.

Your light pattern looks good but although it's bright the "throw" or lighting distance seems short.
I would be very careful to make sure the product has DOT certification which speaks to the lighting pattern. A poor pattern can blind oncoming drivers and not have an acceptable pattern. I think this is especially true of the Chinese imports. I have been blinded myself by ultra bright headlights with a poor pattern.
What causes the problem is the lens is designed for a very specific light point - the halogen filament. The Xenon and LED lights can't have the same light point because the illuminating element has a different shape - it has to, and they also may not be at the exact same focal point.
You may end up with expensive housings you end up being required to remove when a DMV or police inspection discovers it.

A cursory glance at the shape and position of the two light sources could tell you how close you are. Since you're working from a focal point behind a lens the millimeters matter. This is both for the shape of the light element as well as the distance from the lens.

Thank you for this review!! These seem to look great. Aftermarket projectors seem to be getting better in quality. However, I am interested in buying these and retrofitting better projectors in there. I just need to wait for the price to drop. These are over $1100 when I posted this.
When bought my GLK CPO there were literally NO GLKs nearby with the lighting package. A few months ago, I went to the dealer to pick up a GLC for my parents and there were literally NO GLCs on the lot with the lighting package!

Win Power
Also found this from Auto Dynasty:
Anyone have any experience with the Auto Dynasty set?
Any reports on current state of errors (for either)?
Also - still unclear - does installing these disable the LED strip below headlight assembly that currently acts as daytime running light?

Good morning, I need to know how did you manage to fix this error codes issue? Resistors? Programmation?
Please let me know as I am very interested doing this conversion!
Thanks!

Hi all, I'm very interested in these also for my 2015 GLK 350. Any updates to this and error codes fixed? I see that Auto Dynasty is now selling for around $500 for a pair.

Reviving a dead thread here (and also my account, which I haven't logged in for over 2 years). I just installed these on my wife's 2015 GLK350 and they look great. I am nervous how long the bulbs and ballasts will last, but it was plug and play except for the bulb out error code for the front right and left side marker lamps. While this is annoying, when we purchased her vehicle earlier this year the stock halogens were pitted and heat damaged. I was happy to spend the extra coin (was $490 on eBay for the set) to update the look. I need to figure out how to get the bulb out error fixed, but otherwise they look sharp. The turn signal LED's (amber color) match the LED's in the stock factory mirror lights, and the HID kit integrated into the headlight is a nice 5,000K HID (white light). If anyone wants more pictures happy to post.

I had these for over a year with no issues. I added two resistors to get rid of the error codes ($10). You simply have to tap them on each headlight harness (Gray-Black wire and Gray Red wire).

Thank you for the update and giving us more details on how to resolve the error codes!!

Would it be possible for you to share what type of resistor you used for these? I have tried to this in the past without luck. I'd greatly appreciate it. Are you saying you put vampire connectors onto the gray-black and gray-red wires and tap the resister in between those two?

I recently purchased the same headlights and I was curious if you had any issues with the HIDs flickering when it was cold outside?
The capacitors I used to stop the error were 50W 60ohm from amazon.

As a long term update to the headlights, they've continued to operate fine. I have noticed on occasion that one of the bulbs (passenger side) will go out but there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. Continuing to monitor, it has not happened frequently enough to warrant further investigation.
Based on this thread, I bought some of these resistors and hope to install and kill the "Side Marker Bulb Out" warnings. https://www.ebay.com/itm/284060752497
