Could this cause alignment to be off?
I had to have my gas tank replaced. Dealer had to R&R the driveshaft and entire rear subframe, compress rear coil springs, among other things. The alignment/steering wheel was perfect when I dropped it off, and now I have to hold the wheel slightly to the left (to prevent car from going right).
In my opinion, since its 4MATIC, some of that stuff they did in the rear end could have caused the steering geometry to be a little off. Am I correct?
I'm so scared I will get the car back worse than it is now, but my #1 thing I obsess about in a car is steering wheel being straight. Some people care about other stuff, but I have NOT bought brand new cars due to alignment issues from the factory. I hope that 4MATIC cars can be aligned perfectly. Dealer service has been great so far, so hopefully this is just a fluke.

I can't say how perfectly a 4Matic car can be aligned, but if they had to remove all they told you they did, then most certainly alignment could have been affected. If the rear alignment is off, it will be felt somehow in the steering wheel.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but take it back and show them. On a car that new, it should be totally straight, as it was before they tore it down.
