I Tried Very Hard
For the past 6 months I have very seriously looked at replacing my '10 GLK with a new GLC but two things stopped me.
First was the salesman believe it or not. I stopped in one day and asked for him. He came over and told me he was busy with another customer. I proceeded to tell him what I was looking for with all the options I wanted (he wrote everything down). I told him to call me when he had a chance. He never did.
The second was I had a hard time getting around the look of the tablet stuck on the dash. It just does not look like it belongs or fits.
I have decided to move on. I ordered a new Jaguar F Pace "S".
Everyone on the forum has been great and provided a wealth of information that became invaluable through the years. Best of luck!

MBWorld Fanatic!
I guess the wiper was enough too much I saw 4 GLCs this week, I guess they are really out. I can't stand the look of it. The rear looks like any other korean/japanese small SUV. The front looks like GLA, which I'm not a fan off. I'm keeping GLK for now until it gives too much trouble.

I wouldn't have considered the F-Pace and the GLC to be true competitors. The Jag is more money and higher performance. Personally, if the GLC didn't suit, I would have gone with the Macan, for better performance and proven reliability. But that's a very personal, subjective choice.
I hope the Jag works out well for you. It would be great to hear more, after you've lived with it for a while.

I got the glc over the bmw x3 partyly because the tablet looks so sleek and slim. I like it more than an integrated screen with a hump in the dash

My wife has 14 GLK250 and Diesel engine performs beatifully, but if MB will not introduce diesel 2017 GLC for US by this fall or at all, I will consider the upcoming F-Pace 20d; they are in the same class and in the same price range.
