Adjusting the rpm

Hi all is there a DIY to adjust the rpm? I think I need to raise it by 1000. Thanks

Thats what i do but Need it really to be permanent to remove the slight rough idling it would be fine if I don't see the headlights shaking when stuck in traffic

It would help if you said what engine you had. Idle is normally set by computer using the idle air servo. If you shake enough to see headlights move, you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere.

I have the 2011 glk 300. Actually I see it shaking on and off. It's just annoying have to see it in the garage or when full stop and the only thing I could think of is increasing g the rpm. I just changed the plugs and run diagnostics in the shop but no fault found that was just almost 50 days ago.

Probably the air volume sensor needs to be cleaned, the temperature sensor is going bad or the exhaust oxygen sensor is on its last legs.
