How much of the W204 fits the X204?
The GLK has not been blessed with a lot of aftermarket support. The same cannot be said for the W204 chassis.
In terms of brake and suspension upgrades, bushings, etc..., how much of what is made for the W204 would, in theory, fit our cars?
For instance, the front calipers look like crap on our cars. A simple swap from a W204, with nice Mercedes-Benz lettering (if possible), would already be an improvement from an aesthetics point of view.
What say you?

Yeah, that's not happening.
When I had my Legacy GT wagon, I swapped in the STi brake setup, but that meant changing the master cylinder as well, since the stock one, made to push 4 pistons total, suddenly had to push 12 of them, and just wasn't up to snuff.
I'd like a firmer sway bar for the GLK, and some sportier shock options.

Unfortunately the GLK is not blessed with many performance options.
Here are some sport/lowering springs:
https://www.gmpperformance.com/index...ail&PID=295108
250$ for all 4.
Or this is the coilover kit:
https://www.gmpperformance.com/index...ID=233851&VS=1
1.8k$
Couldn't find a sway bar, but a carbon strut brace:
https://www.gmpperformance.com/index...ID=282882&VS=1
1k$
I honestly wish there were more aftermarket parts...

hmmm... if one is to going to upgrade to better brakes on their GLK (say Wilwood, Brembo, whatever), would you need to upgrade the master cylinder system? I'm dreaming of doing it
I can't believe so little aftermarket parts are available for our GLKs. And the ones that are compatible is due to the C63s.

On my Legacy GT, I sawpped on the STi brake setup.
Going from 1-piston calipers front and rear, to 4-piston calipers in the front and 2-piston calipers in the back proved too much. I had to swap in the master cylinder from the STi as well.
That's why I'm always a bit suspicious of big brake kits that never seem to address the master cylinder's capacity to actually activate the bigger brakes.
