Thinking GLK250
Hi Folks,
I currently have a couple of Mercedes including a GLK350. My GLK350 is living in another state now so I need to add a second vehicle to replace it at home.
I like the GLK quite a bit but was hoping for something that could tow and had a little more pickup. Has anyone done a side by side comparison of the GLK250 and the GLK350?
Thanks,
Ed

My wife has a '13 350, mine is a '14 250. The 350 accelerates much better, passing is easier. It is slightly more quiet, and obviously worse on gas mileage.
The 250 is solid as a rock, the torque seems to make it unstoppable. The acceleration is more than adequate in the city, and you have lots of time on the highway. The diesel requires a different driving style (if you've ever driven a standard diesel, you'd know what i'm referring to.) With the (correctly managed) automatic transmission you don't need to worry too much about it. However, diesel is NOT for everyone. Drive it to decide if it suits you.
Do you have any more specific questions?
