Nitto Terra Grapplers on the GLK
Hey guys, just looking for some feedback and to see if anyone on here has tried these Nitto Terra Grappler A/T tires on the GLK. I ran these tires on my one ton pick up truck and didn't have a great experience. They wore out in approx 30,000km but I was towing heavy loads. I don't think these tires are meant for heavy towing and maybe they would preform better on something a little lighter like the GLK?
Also, I am looking at a size 255 55R18 and I know I'm going to have clearness issues. So I'm gonna get some rims with less offset, maybe like a +32 I'm thinking. Anybody think this is gonna work?
I'm not too concerned about having the tires stick out past the wheel wells haha and I know I might sand blast my body. This vehicle is just a hobby for me and not a daily driver. I kinda wanna give it that off road look, ya know?

Thanks! I went with a +35 offset. They fit perfectly! I am still running this exact same setup today and am still very impressed. No rubbing at all and excellent traction (Ive taken it through some deep snow and hairy backroads and never had any issues, superb traction!) The rims I went with are TSW Brooklands 18x9.5 with a 35 offset. Paired with the Nitto Terra grappler A/T tire is a match made in heaven

Sweet setup, I am going to get the same one with silver wheels for my white GL,
Question though, are you sure it's 18x9.5 instead 18x8.5 as Nittos 255 55 15 calls for wheels 7.0 to 9.0.?
