Minor Paint Repair on front bumper
I just noticed that someone backed into my wife's 2015 GLK350. I cleaned it up with WD40 and got all the black paint off the white. However, looks like it rubbed about a 3" x 2" spot of clear coat off the bumper.
Has anyone tried to repair this on their own. I did a paint repair on my wife's C300 a few years ago, but that one I primed, painted, and clear coated myself. Looked good. On this one I was thinking about hitting it with fine sand paper, then hit it with just clear coat.
Any advice welcome, thanks.

The usual process if the color coat is good is to key the surface with fine grit like 400, then clean it well with some prepsol, hit it with a couple coats of clear. Once it it dry and hard enough, smooth and blend it with 600 wet or dry (wet), then buff it with compound, then a clean buffer with polishing compound.
Or try some mcguires scratchx.
