Got 4.5% off MSRP off a GLS550 which was sitting on the lot, not a custom order. Dealer didn't bat an eye at my offer, probably could have gotten more but I just wanted a fast transaction.

6.4% discount on GLS450 although dealer claimed they were selling close to MSRP. The dealer's story often changes when a firm offer is on the table, especially as the end of the month draws near.

Bay Area is starting to get more GLS' on the lots. Took a car in for service at MBSF and chatted up one of the internet sales managers. Initially he was serious about selling them at close to MSRP and when he realized I already ordered one from another dealer said if I cancelled my order (5% discount) he would beat it by $500 or more.
It really depends who you talk to and when. Also how you approach the dealers...coming in guns blazing demanding a certain deal just because someone else got it usually doesn't work. Sorry can't share specifics not because I am being difficult, its because I want to maintain a good relationship with my dealer.

2017 GLS550 & Ford F-150 Platinum
New GLS 450
As of tomorrow I will own my first MB a GLS 450. I started at a local dealer in Tampa near my office not sure I wanted a new car (payment) as my cars are paid off but I test drove it and wanted one.
We started at $4,500 off MSRP then they went to $5,000 off. My wife insisted I call around and was given some good numbers and went back to the dealer and let them know I was told 9 1/2% to 10 % off at another dealer and he said ok, here and now 10% off MSRP. I've been going back and fourth for a week on the color but it's decided now. Called the sales rep and let him know tomorrow I'll be in and he said it will be washed and gassed up ready to go. Keeping my fingers crossed they will hold their end of the deal. I also get $500 off for USAA. Thats a kick *** deal I'm thinking.

I put a deposit down two days ago on a factory order GLS450 which should be ready in March. I ended up getting 7% off MSRP. I also plan to purchase the 7year/100k extended warranty which has an MSRP of $3,750. I get the impression from other posts that I may be able to purchase the 7yr/100k warranty in the ball park of $2,700? Does this sound about right? If I don't purchase the warranty from my local dealer then I'll try contacting some of the dealers mentioned in the forum after I take delivery. Any suggestions as to a good target price for the 7yr/100k warranty would be appreciated.

Ok so after reading many posts on here I went to the dealer wanting to test one. The dealer I was working with had the only one available. It just happened to be to color combo I wanted. It was Diamond white and saddle brown. The first time I went in I told myself no way Inwould spend the extra money.
I test drive it and told the sales man lets switch to the 550. He came back with the numbers which I expected to be the same 10% they were giving me on the GLS 450. He came back with a $3500 discount off of MSRP and told me that's the best that we do on a 550. He said they don't normally discount those cars much at all. I spoke to another dealer and told them I was already getting 10% off of a 550 and 20 2K on the trade they said they would honor the 10% and give me 20 3K if I came across the bridge to them. I told myself and go get your manager and bring them over which he did. I told the manager the name of the dealer the salesman and the manager of all been calling me nonstop while I was sitting at his dealership offering me 10% on the 550 and 20 3K for my trade. I told him they don't have one in stock but there are some that are in South Florida they can get me in a day or two. The manager said fine I'll honor the deal and they did So I ended up getting the 2017 GLS550 with 10% off and a $500 discount for a USAA member.
I have not had time to take pictures but I will tonight.

That's a great deal! i got 13% off at a NYC area dealer on a 550 it was Jan 4 last sales date of 2016

The highest discount ive been able to get on GLS450 is 7% off including fleet in NJ, and that's for in stock. How are you guys scoring 10-13% off and that's on a 550???

This is our third GL, I usually get about 4 to 5% discount is what I aim for. This 2017 GLS is also getting the discount, still trying to decide the color combo, I have a build date on June and delivery for end of July which works out perfectly for time frame for us. But I am still waiting for MB Canada to announce base list pricing.

I can confirm approx 10p discount on msrp in North NJ. This is on a custom order GLS450 - expected to arrive in a couple weeks. Of course state and other taxes will pull a lot of that back

HI I'm new to this forum. I originally ordered a gls350d (super delayed cuz of the EPA) and wanted to switch to a gls450 and almost every dealer in the GTA said that it'll be over a year's wait. We're you able to get one?
