So - let me get this straight in my head - you could have been driving the GL550 for the past 4 months - I would say you might move forward, on something you can drive new... uWant something cheaper... go find it and buy it...

evidently mb is not really concerned about selling these cars, they are not high volume cars in general anyway.
2 months ago my local dealership had FIVE 2016 gl63 still sitting in the lot but they didn't seem too concerned. all of them were north of 120k

Exactly my point Fab. The **** MF and Residuals are not in line with other vehicles in their league. The ****ing interest (MF) is out of line and all of our experiences are consistent across the marketplace. The title of the ****ing thread was about lease terms so I put my experiences in to help assist the OP. I am transparent and had the deal sheet in hand. Read the thread from beginning to end again - GLS550 LEASE. And..obviously the "hyped up market demand" the zombies in the stealership are claiming are total BS in my market similar to others. Inventory is sitting. But I forgot you are a salesman for MB. FU.

Well - I am forum member - and I am not here to "sell" you a Mercedes - what you choose to do is your choice - and frankly if you want to stay on the fence and not get anything - that's your choice too.
1) The GLS550 lease factor has always been higher than GLS450.... it was that way on GL550's and GL450's ..that is not a Conspiracy... that's the way it is.
2) On GLS550's - frankly as the freshened high-end model - if there will be any incentives forthcoming it could be Spring.
I guess when you type "FU" - I guess that means means **** You - that a good short summary

Just wanted to update you guys... So after much thought.. I got a fully loaded 450. Granted the drive is boring compared to the 550... But, couple of things steered me in the 450 direction...
1) I hardly drive it... Few times a year at most during family trips.
2) my wife will never appreciate the drive difference.. She was happy that I saved money
3) could not get myself because of the above to justify the high interest rate and difference in monthly payments.
4) I have my own road toys in my garage.. Rather spend money on them.. Since I appreciate the drive!!
450 was completely loaded up. Not much difference in msrp( in grand scheme of things) compared to the 550.. But the interest rate difference made the payments significantly higher..
Thanks everyone for your opinions.

yeah it's hard to swallow the difference. but honestly you are also getting a lot more car. after having the 550 for over a month i just think it's a noticeably better car than the 450 in multiple aspects.
but of course, i admit i am paying 1100 for the 550 so it's easier for me to say

You said $1100/month for GLS 550. Do you mind sharing Lease Term, miles 10 or 12k/yr and money factor, residual and which dealership? Anything down or just inceptions.
I have S550 that's coming off lease and torn between getting 2017 GLS450 vs 550. I like 550 but Ray Catena, Edison NJ keeps telling me $1500 approx. for 10K, 36 months??? Thanks.

as i mentioned mine is the 2016 GL550, not GLS550. that's why i was able to get a lot more discount on the car. on the GLS dealership wouldn't let go so easily, and i think 1500 is probably about the ball park.

I wanted the 550 too.. But could not come to terms with the cost difference specially since I don't drive it much.
