I noticed the remote start is very sensitive to windows being open and perhaps lights being left on.
By windows being left open I mean it could be slightly ajar not totally closed but not open in a sense that you could see it.
My daughter often times leaves the rear passenger overhead light on. Is there a way to set an alarm when lights are left on? Is there a potential to impact the battery when this occurs?
This morning I attempted to remote start the vehicle. It failed and said that a door or window may be open or something like that. I found the light left on and the driver side window was slightly ajar.
