Hey guys, I am in need of some advice/recommendations. My friend backed his car into the left rear corner bumper of my car (less than 5mph). Aside from the scrape and a 1-2 inch wide and probably about 1-2 mm deep indentation, the overall integrity of the bumper appears fine. In fact there is more damage on his car than mine. Should I: 1) take it into the dealership and have them check to make sure that the frame of the vehicle is intact and just perform a cosmetic repair at a auto body shop, or 2) just replace the entire bumper. Would prefer to not involve the insurance companies. If I elect to go with the first choice then do any of you guys have any recommendations on a place that would do a job that is nothing less than superb? thanks for the help.
