This is what I think...
1. AMD is in a low cycle at the moment, almost near their 52 week low.
2. Looking at a 3 year trend of their stock, it dips and goes back up. Pretty much in the same trend.
3. Their stock scouter rating is 4, which is considered to match the market with more risk, however, that could mean nothing.

I am inclined to buy some of this stock myself, but take this with a grain of salt...I always do research and then buy, quite a few times analysts have been wrong.

I still believe it a good buy. Their chipsets are in quite a bit of products. They may even become Apple's default chip/processor provider. Even better prospects.

Do you guys still recommend on buying up some AMD? Or are they on one of their little periodical declines (i.e, wait it out).

Hmm. Thanks for the tip. Gonna do some research on it. Looking to buy some good cheaper Stocks. Trying to stick with Stocks that I've heard of though (or do enough research on the ones I haven't to now "hear of them" ).

Your welcome brother. I know I am with you on that. Its hard getting me away from Apple, 3M(MMM) and even MCD. They pay a dividend and in my eyes are 100% bulletproof... But then again 10 years later I could be wrong I mean Eastman Kodak filed for bankruptcy today and has been around since what? 1892?

Agreed! I just got out of MCD on a short trade, but am still in AAPL. AAPL and MCD are my "sleep well Stocks", lol. I have most faith in those, although I HATE McDonalds as an actual company, and won't eat their at all. As a Stock, it's great, I just had been eying it like an idiot since it was in the mid $80's, waiting for a "pullback", watched it get all the way to $100 and decided to buy in. I'd love to grab that at the low $90's, but I have doubts about it ever getting back there.

AAPL I just know so well, I feel like I know all the risks, the rewards, the consensus, etc. I still feel it's the best mix of growth and safety on the Market right now at these levels it's at right now.

Well let's see. AMD announced they are laying off 30% (possibly) recently due to low earnings over the quarter. Analysts have it rated at a Hold right now, but they are not always right.

So...Wall St Cheat Sheet and and some analysts say this

MSN..take a look at the numbers: http://investing.money.msn.com/inves...ol=amd&x=0&y=0

Even with all that said...AMD can go nowhere but up? All stocks are down right now, many in the same realm i.e. INTC, Dell, are down as well. Get in on the bounce I say, just my thought. You know the disclaimer though....
