CLK550 vs 06-07 WRX/STI

Took delivery of my 2007 CLK550 coupe this afternoon and I already have a kill story. Was driving through Mexico on a four lane highway when I came across a blue WRX/STI (couldn't tell, it was modded and debadged). We played through traffic for a good 5-10 minutes before we came up on a wide stretch of empty highway. We got door to door at 80mph when we both went for it. Dead even until about 100mph when I started to pull away. I had to shut it down at 120, when I was 2 car lengths ahead, because I had to take my exit.

I am a satisfied CLK550 owner.

He never had a chance at those speeds stock with his gearing. His only hope was from a dig and hope you didn't catch up in the 1/8th.
