CL63 AMG vs Jaguar XFR (with video)
A friend of mine has one of a kind Jaguar XFR. It is 5.0 Kompressor with 510BHP. He has a tune (XFR-S ECU) and full exhaust. Apparently it has 570BHP; additional 40BHP from the tune and 20BHP from the exhaust. Well, I've watched a few videos of a standard XFR (gtboard.com videos) and that car is a killer, it is faster than M5 V10 and according to GTBOARD video a lot faster than S63 AMG. Long story short. We did between 5-10 runs and I was shocked.
I would always pass him by 1/2 car length no matter from what speed we start.
We tried from 30, 60, 80, 100 ... always same, I slowly pull on him. We went up to 150-160.
How is this possible? His car has more power, is lighter and according to many videos on the internet is faster than M5 V10 in a stock form (his is tuned).
He also raced that day another friend with Audi R8 V8 with tune and exhaust (500BHP) and they went even until 120MPH, then Jag pulls ahead and keeps going.
Is his car broken or is my CL too fast? Oh yeah, he measured his 60-120MPH (100-200KPH) run with Racelogic GPS and he got 9.6 seconds.
