190E swap 3.2 even with w210 e55t amg?

190E swap 3.2 even with w210 e55t amg?
So hey not my cars.. But my friend has an 190E. Swapped with 3.2 m104 engine and 722. Transmission and he claimed that he kept up with stock W210 E55T Amg from 80 kmh to 200 kmh... He is driving on standalone computer, weights 1420kg WITH him inside the car and has either 3.27 or 3.47 diff also he claims to push 230 to the wheels now, stock motor has 220hp... How likely is that race to be true? I think its a total bull*** Because i have driven E55 w210 and its fast!

87 190e 2.3-16v Cosworth; 2000 E320 Saloon
I can believe it. I have a W210 and I had a 190E Cosworth. They are VERY lightweight and 200+ hp with proper gearing and a good driver would probably keep up at least to a point

You got e55 w210? Yeah like my friend said his gearing is very short he tops out at 200-210kmh hes running standalone system

Like the other guy said very possible don't understimate the older Benz's especially a souped up one like that could cause some major upsets to certain vehicles
