Mobil 1 is fully synthetic. thats the only oil we use in our ML 270 and our SLK.
It is the 0w-40

Hope this helps

I believe Mobil1 is no longer fully synthetic. That's just what's going around many forums. I haven't had the time to look up other posts where they've done some research on the matter.

That said, I personally use 0W-40.

Here's a list of Mercedes approved oils.

BTW, try calling your service department about what weight Mobil1 they use now. They used to use 0W-40, but recently switched to another weight Mobil1 (5W-40, I believe, but I'm not sure).

ml320 & c240
MB recomends Mobile1 0w 40. I have been using amsoil euro 5w 40 in my ml
with no problems. Amsoil is said to have the highest quality in synthetic oil.
