Brake line, is that standard or was that aded later??
Hi, heaving a leak that apeard in the break lines ( classic, one feet in feont of the left rear wheel , close to the gaz tank mont ) i did read on this forum that the lines are very long. But, i see this : kind of a coupling thingy ! And so thinking as the leak is behind that point i could just changw the last 2 feets of line ! Going to a junk yard and get the last feet of line cut out off a car.
The question : is that coupler standard or was that aded later by a previous owner or workshop maybe ? Little brass coupler

Thanks a lot !
do you think i can use it again to connect an other piece or is it somethink that needs special tools to work with ? Single use maybe ? Would save me the time to get the entire line out and in the car again !

That repaired line looks very bad. Trace the line in both directions, origin and destination, and go to the dealer with your complete vin# and order the complete line which comes preformed.
Take a few photos so the dealer is not confused.

thanks for your input !!
i fixed it, the quick way this morning, with adapted tubing and pressure fittings ( but ones that are actually approuved ) !
probleme solved !
and sprayed rubber rocker guard all over the lines, new and olds, so to prevent the rust again !!
youhou !
