99 aftermarket navigation wiring.
Hello, I have a 1999 ml320 with the single DIN Bose cassette deck with non-fiber cd changer.
I have wired up my Pioneer Z3 head unit and having it playing well (through the factory amp for now using pre-amp outs on the radio)
I located the pinout for the radio connector that includes the power and speaker wires but I would like to find the pinout for the smaller rectangle connector. I'm searching for the VSS wire and any other useful wires like the reverse wire. Something tells me that they're in that connector. I can identify what 3 pins of that connector look to me like a serial data bus, most likely a CAN bus.
I have been google searching for a few day before posting this thread. I can find pinouts but non of that extra connector. I have found a lot of links to Wolfgang's site but all the links are broken that I have found.
Thanks everyone. Happy holidays!
