tapping/popping noise at low speeds

2000 ML 320

tapping/popping noise at low speeds

So I had this problem coming from under my 2000 ML 320 and I thought maybe it was the torsion bar bushings. So yesterday I replaced them (damn that bolt was long), sprayed a bunch of silicone spray on everything and so far so good. H

Here's the thing: my bushings were NOT broken...just really dirty. if the sound comes back, what could it be?
