It was in the Q/A section on amazon for this item and as usual when you go back and try to find something you can never find it. Evidently there is a US and China version... and the China item is not supported...maybe? There is lots to read in the Q/A about this item.

More on the ML500 no AC... I have replaced the Aux Coolant pump and Had the codes erased at the MB dealer. It had a fault listed for the AUX coolant pump, and a blend door fault. I was told buy the dealer that blend door happened when the AAC is unplugged and the ign key was turned on. All Faults were erased. After a engine run test Still no AC... but no faults reappeared. The blend doors worked heat/no heat, Dash board vents, defrost, floor. He said it is the AAM module. Any ideas? I read somewhere that if the AAM module is bad it also will show some type of code...and there was not one but he says that doesn't mean anything. I left the dealer with $138.00 less in pocket and still no AC with an Estimate around 700-800.00 for a new AAM.

That is probably for the Pro level scanner where you must hook up to the internet.

1. you never really answered my question in post #17.
2. you spent $138 at the dealer when you could have spent that money towards buying your own scanner.
3. post the bill from the dealer, less your personal info. so we can see what he did.
4. the dealer should have been able to tell you why the A/C was not able to operate.

Thanks again for your help. All is well...nice cold AC in 90+ plus humid weather here in VA. AAC module not the AAM as I mis-spoke before. Back to thread 19. The new AAC module has 12v on the red and pink wire. When I answered in thread 19 the pink only had 3.1v.
