I am new to Mercedes. I bought a wrecked 1999 ML320 to use as a donor for building my ****** jeep pickup. I plan on using almost everything from the ml320. So far i removed everything from the ml320 and have my ****** mounted back on the frame. I am in the process of going through the wiring now. I am wanting to remove all of the systems that i dont need. Air bags, radio, seat controls, yaw, door controls, etc. I would like to remove the ABS as well. My question is am i going to run into any problems with any of those systems communicating with the engine that would affect performance. I am extremely impressed with the craftsman ship that went into building a Mercedes. I am now considering buying a Mercedes for my wife for a family car after working on this one.
