ML320 Acceleration from a stop problem
Hello.
I have a 2000 ML320 with about 180K on the odometer. Runs good however recently it has started to experience hesitation on acceleration. What happens is from a stop I'll depress the gas pedal and it is as if the whole car shuts off momentarily. It just dies. This only lasts for a moment or two, then it resumes as it nothing happened. When this happens the yellow triangle dash light with the exclamation point comes on too.
This originally started when I was accelerating from a stop and turning left at the same time, but now it has started when I accelerate from a stop in any direction.
It doesn't happen all the time, but is getting more frequent.
Any ideas on where to start, or has anyone else experienced this before?
Thanks much for your help!

Okay I've solved this problem. I was over thinking this, and reading too much into it. After some thought on it, I pulled both front wheels and inspected the speed sensors and wiring. Both of them looked fine, and there was no chafing or exposed wiring. Cleaned them up as well as any dirt, brake dust, etc. from the part of the axle that the sensor reads. Put it all back together, and for the past week have had no trouble whatsoever. Looks like it was a dirty speed sensor.
