Getting elect. connector out of 722.6 trans

Well, I know I am not the only one this has happened to, but I can not find this anywhere on the W163 posts. I was changing the fluid and filter in the trans and decided to go ahead and change the control plate and the plug connector before it failed Everything was going alone fine (other than the mess, haha) until I disconnected the electrical plug from the trans. It unplugged fine, but when I went to remove the connector that is inside the in the plate, the white twist connector broke off. Now I do not have anything to grasp to remove the black part of the plug. I removed the 7mm bolt but still can not grasp it enough to wiggle it loose. I am afraid of sticking anything up along side the valve body to pry it loose since I do not know what is where. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Try using long nose pliers. Gently wiggle it out.

Thanks Art- I did try my needle nose, but could not find anything to grasp to wiggle it. I went over and got a better mirror, so maybe I can get a better look/angle on it. I was afraid of bending the pins because I wold not see real well. Tuff angle already and now I have to perform surgery, lol Will let you know how it goes
