98 ml320
98 ml320 won't shift to Park or start in Neutral
Drove to the pool hall and couldn't shift to park. Now can't start it either.
Hopefully it's not related to driving to the pool hall.
233,000 miles. Ran fine till then. Nothing spilled in shifter.

All you have to do is change the selector module,cause you won't be able to shift it manually cause it takes an a little hard to do it...

Thanks, I found previous info from ejsheltra listing the steps to change the shifter assembly. Looks like something I can handle. Looking to ebay to find a replacement assembly.
