Different Year Model Transmission
Hey guys i've been searching around the forums and cannot get a clear answer for this. I'm searching for a donor transmission for my 1999 ML430 since the current one is done for. The 99 year models are hard to find within my budget (ebay) and there are way more newer ones out there. Would the '00-'02 transmissions be compatible with my car? or would i have to also replace the TCU?

2002 ML 320 & 2006 ML500
98 & 99 ML transmissions are different from the rest.
