Center console door lock switch
I'm very new to the 1999 ML430.
I might have a switch problem.
From what I have read, the center console lock/unlock rocker switch
is a two position switch. My doors lock ONLY on the front of the switch.
The rear of the switch does nothing.
The Doors lock and unlock perfectly.
I'm just wondering why the rocker only works on one side.
Thank you.

Remove the Switch Group, turn it upside down and take a photo of the underside with all connectors in place and then I will be able to help you.

I didn't take a picture but the lock rocker switch has only one red wire to it.
Thought for sure it would have 2
BTW what are you looking for?
Can I get a new switch panel and have the
lock switch work correctly)

You didn't take a photo or couldn't take a photo?
The reason I asked for a photo is there are four connectors, plus the single PINK wire. Now you will have to find the wires on your own.
First activate Auto Central Locking as per instructions and report back with results.
