A/c vents barely blowing

Hey, I couldn't find a thread for this, but I feel like there is one here somewhere. I apologize if this is duplicate.

My blower fan got off balance and sounded like a jet whenever the air was on, while waiting for the new one it stopped blowing hard out of the vents. Can anyone help with this? It sounds like it's just blowing into the dash and some is coming up out of the defrost, but barely any air from the vents. The control panel has also stopped working when the fan is on 1 or 2. Only blows on 3 and 4, the temp control has to be on heat for the a/c to work and the directional control for the vents seems to not work anymore either. The last two problems have been going on for months. Any ideas how to fix this? It's so hot here.

First remove the Blower Motor and remove any debris. Then remove the Cabin Air Filter and replace if dirty.

When the motor only operates in certain blower speeds, it is always the Blower Resistor, and that must be replaced. Do not touch the resistor as it can be very hot.

Thank you! I replaced the blower motor and air filter yesterday so they're good. Now on to research the resistor. Thank you again

Do I still need to find the bellows and replace them for the air to start blowing out of the vents correctly or will that be taken care of with a new resistor?

2009 Mercedes benz c300
please help

Hi, I have a 2009 mercedes benz c300. Last week the battery was dead, so I tried to jump the car, it gave it little to no life, so I went out and bought a new battery. When i set up everything and turned the car on I noticed that the air for the air conditioner wasnt flowing, it has power when it is turned on though, and the A/c tube that runs through the car gets cold, but it isnt blowing out any air.

Sorry, I missed this question. What do you mean by bellows?

Why did you replace the Blower Motor?

By bellows, I mean (and am probably using the term wrong) the flappy doors that control airflow to the vents. I replaced the blower motor fan because it was off balance and beat around when the ac was on. It had actually peeled up the plastic piece it sits on. The resistor was bad. The ceramic piece and broken on it. I replaced it also. I ha e a little more air, but still not enough not to sweat badly when driving. The air is ice cold though. The first time I tightened the fam motor a few months back the air flow was great. When it started acting up again is when the air flow got bad. I'm stuck now on what I need to do. The vent doors are changing when the dial is turned. I checked that also by taking that panel off and watching as the dual was turned.

Where did you get the blower motor? Was it used or did you buy an aftermarket one.

What I think happened is the fan is wired incorrectly and the fan is spinning in the opposite direction. Or maybe the fan blades on the new one is facing the opposite direction. Put them side by side and check things out.

Ok. I'll check that. It is suppose to turn clockwise, corect? Also, how do I even fix that problem of it is turning backwards? I ordered it aftermarket.

Do you still have the old blower motor?

Did you have to splice the wires?

Look at the blades of the fan as they are angled to the right and that means that the fan must turn to the right.

This is only a sample photo. So you must look at your new blower motor and see which direction the blades are angled to and it must spin in that direction.

I didn't see this post earlier I wish I would have. I'll be taking it back down and checking the way it spins. If it is t spinning the correct way, what is the fix?

Reverse splice the two wires.
