2000 ML320 is not accelerating!
Hello. I appreciate anyonew who may have an idea or detailed explanation to why my truck won't accelerate, shift gears, after 25mph.
I can change gears from park to drive. It jerks when I change from park to reverse and reverse to drive but no jerks to neutral. Had it scanned at the dealership. They told me it had a bad conductor plate and it was misfiring .So researched and found out its not hard to do. I changed once. Took it back and it still read codes for a bad conductor plate. Took the part back got a more expensive part replaced it. Before I took it back to the dealership it unhooked the battery to see if it would reset itself and didn't work.
I still need to get the code cleared hence I replaced the conductor plate for the second time. II've also researched that the TCM could have transmission fluid leak inside but those cases are rare. That part costs way too much brand new anywhere. I need more options before I decide to go that route for a part to see if it's a minor fix . Thank you for your time !
