Steering column bushings replacement?

So the question is if it is possible to replace just the bushings of the steering column. As far as I could find out the OEM solution is to replace the whole steering column - just the bushings are not sold separately. So I've been wondering if there is a way to replace the bushings and keep the steering column. How do I get the bushings off and what bushings can be used instead of the original ones?

Thanks.

What is your definition of bushing?

This is the steering column:

It must have 2 bushings - upper and lower. The problem is, that if the bearings or bushings of the steering column fail, they are not sold separately. The only replacement part there is is the whole steering column together with the bushings and the steering lock angle sensor.

What I want to do is find out if just the bushings could be replaced...

Take off the air bag, steering wheel & covers and the combination switch and spray WD40 onto the top half. Do not attempt to do the lower half because the Steering Angle Sensor will be damaged.
