00 ml320 hard start cold
Has anyone had any problems with their ml320 starting hard when the engine has cooled off for and hour or so. The truck will start in two or three cranks when it is warm but when it cools down it cranks quite awhile before starting. No codes show up with my scan tool and I have not had any work done for quite awhile on it. MAF???????????,Fuel Fillter????? It only has 43k on the odometer.

SAME PROBLEM ANY IDEAS ANYBODY??
I just bought an ML320 used. Exhibits hard start after it sits for 1+ hours.
Service is up to date as far as I can tell from dealership records. I took it to MB dealer to repair A/C and they recommended fuel filter upgrade for hard start. They said most hard start issues are in the fuel filter.
I had them replace the fuel filter and it still starts hard if it sits for a while. runs fine, no engine lights. no hesitation on acceleration.
I swapped the fuel relay with horn relay K3&K4(K3 was dirty looking, I cleaned with scrubby pad), also swapped K12 and K26 relays(both looked clean). This appeared to solve the issue for 1 day.
The dealer wants to to look at it again, but I am unsure as they will just throw parts at it, I think($$$$).
Can anyone give me any ideas? I don't think that I am qualified to measure or test any of the fuel system for leaks.
Thanks for any help....
