Purchased a 2005 ML350 with 121k with a p0446 code.

i need to get the problem fixed so I can get it emissions tested. I'm not sure what the best place to start would be since I understand there are a few places that may cause the code?

any suggestions before replacing parts? I'll be getting a code reader tomorrow to be able to reset codes.
