I have a 2000 ML320 equipped with the MCS system and 6-disc changer in the trunk (no navi). There are no "Bose" badges in the speaker grilles and no Bose logo on the MCS display, however according to the sales sticker, my vehicle is equipped with option code 810 "sound package." I need to know if my vehicle has an amplifier somewhere so I can purchase the right install kit.

Crutchfield suggests the following wiring adapters:
This one for W163s without factory amplifier
Or this one for W163s with a factory amplifier

Any help is greatly appreciated.
