Have a 2000 ML430 which needs a new spare tire and having some issues sourcing one from TireRack etc. Does anyone have a good suggestion to find a cheap replacement that fits the rim and stock location?

If not, are the more recent car ML's that I might find a spare tire used same size? Looking online I see the bolt pattern is 5-112 so a newer ML with that size spare I guess would work better also but it seems like MB stop putting spares in at some point?

What you need is a 4Jx18 H2 wheel and tire. The 4th one down is yours. Scroll through all of them to find a cheaper one.

Thanks Mag. Dundee! Anyone happen to know the last year that they offered the spare tire with the ML. Looks like more recent ones came without?

Looking like I need to get a more recent one and just swap it out.

Try the local scrap yards, i recently got a full set of 17 inch OEM wheels for $75 Canadian dollar each, $300 for the full set, and they included winter tires (Which i wanted) that has about 1 more season on them.

I use these 17 inch wheels now in winter, and then my AMG 18 inch for summer/spring/fal, worth a shot.
