Angry thinking about selling the ml.

hey guys so i have a 2011 ml350 and it has started giving me problems most of them are electrical or maybe my mechanic just doesn't know how to fix them.

so recently the car showed a esp light i brushed it off and drove to my house then turned the car off. Morning came and the car wouldn't start and a lots of warning messages came up. Checked the batter 11.8V. so that was good , took it to my mechanic he "fixed" something in the steering wheel column ($1200) and it was good............for 2 months. and the same problem came back now he says he "CODED" something($280). CAR drives fine now. so should i sell the ml? or you think give it 1 more shot?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a failing AUX battery will also throw the same errors?

I think you might need a second opinion with your mechanic.

this battery is located in the same well as your regular battery (under the passage seat) it saves general functions like your radio settings, seat memory etc. you will need to test it in there i think. Not too sure if there is another aux port to check from.

actually i think you can also check from the command unit by accessing engineering menu. (pretty sure that its only the main battery voltage tho)

a quick search of this forum will yield a mountain of results.

Sounds to me like a rear SAM failure. Could describe in detail what exactly happened? What do u mean with car wouldn't start? When you turned the key did the the dash light up or was it like the battery was dead? Did you have any problems locking/unlocking? What warning messages? Opened hood/trunk, turn signals didn't work, wipers etc..?
