I started the same post back in Sept. maybe....by the time I found something, it was as expensive as dealership replacements....The OEM are actually best I've found. I got all three from my dealer for 85.00 out the door.

I just put on Rain-X latitudes and they are just as good as OEM. Can't say about how long they will last but they do the job very well.

Just one word of advice: DO NOT USE THE RAIN-X wiper fluid.

Talking Valeo brand ?

I bought a pair of Valeo brand on eBay at $39 shipped to be amazed to find out my original ones on the ML350 are Valeos, both sets are made in Germany. Hope this helps.

Why not use the rain-x wiper fluid? The orange one right?

The Rain X wiper fluid will cause an error indicating the resevoir is empty even though it's full....I was warned by my dealer of the exact same issue.

RainX fluid: I use it regularly. I have no problems with false 'empty' readings and I have no streaks on the windshield.

You can buy Valeo blades at Amazon.
900-28-8B (driver's side): $17.24.
900-21-8B (passenger side): $18.16.
R-12A (rear): $14.26.
Free shipping if you buy all three.

I've never had false reading issues, but I do see that the fluid takes a tiny bit longer to go away after you spray and wipe. Also I think RainX makes only one kind of fluid, if I'm not wrong.

The Rain-X fluid I’m using is clear with no streaking and no errors regarding low washer fluid indicator.

After I used Rain-X on my traded-in 163, I got a hole/leak from my resevoir, causing most of the fluid to leak out. Im not saying the Rain-X was the cause of this, but, I will never use it again.

???

I filled up at Costco and that afternoon a bus ran into me. I'm not saying it was Costco's fault, but I'll never use their gas again.

So I find out that my wipers are kind of hard and scratch for 5 minutes before becoming pliable. So I go out in search for new wipers. a 28" and a 21".

Oreilly Auto has them listed
Bosch OE Wiper Blades - Wiper Blade Set
Part # 3397007093
$80.99 Each

Then there is Trico Exact OE Fit listed for $21.99 Each + $16.99 Each.

Then I search ebay and find out that Keenan motors (MB Dealer) is selling all 3 OE blades for $53.70 (shipping incl).

Yay!

Not at all. It is always good to have a second source for products. Glad to know Tirerack has it.

I just bought wipers fairly sheap from Rockauto

I bought high quality wipers from Rockauto.com for my 08 ML320. Fit & work great, I think I bought the higher end Trico's. Came with instructions and plastic adapters to fit MB's. Much cheaper than the O.E. wipers and so far work better. I didn't notice anything special or magical about the o.e. wipers anyway...

Michelin blades from Costco

I've been using Michelin blades from Costco for the last 3 years and I think they are as good and cost effective as any.
