ML350 2006 cam plug replacement help

So my gf's ml350 she just got started leaking oil after oil change. I took it back. Noticed it coming from rear of head drivers side. I have purchased the cam plugs. One is half dollar size. Other is quarter size. Figured theyd be same size. I plan to replace them this wknd. Do i just pop old out and pop new in. Or should i put a light beed of silicone on the new ones? Having hard time finding answer on the site. Thx for your help. Ima a mb newbie.
