1987 300D Turbo, 2007 ML63 AMG
Fun driving an ML63 AMG
Yesterday we went to lunch in our ML63 AMG (SUV, see below.) I’m 85 and have not slowed down yet. :-)
We were driving leisurely down highway 92 at 55 MPH when we caught up with a car doodling along at 45. After a while I decided to pass, and when an opportunity presented itself I stepped on it: the engine instantly roared to life, the transmission dropped down a couple of gears and we took off like a scalded cat! I got pushed back hard into my seat and literally had to grab the steering wheel more firmly to keep from sliding back further. My wife thought I was going to lose it and screamed, as we accelerated and flew by the other car. 😊

Filling a Niche We Knew Not Existed...
