I found my paperwork:
541011 short test preform:
274989 Electrohydraulic controller unit of automatic transmission removed and install.
There were no codes, looks like they also replaced the valve body, filter and fluid

If the key doesnt start the engine don't assume its a simple battery replacement in the fob. No MB have a $1500 surprise waiting for you. Best of luck

If you are self diagnosing this. My only advice is - dont assume its the oil cooler seals. There are 2 common causes of oil leaking on bottom of the bell housing. It could either be the turbo seal ($20) or the oil cooler seal ($2K+). It is very hard to distinguish between the two coz it leaks in the same place and the bottom cover conceals the problem for months.

Not entirely true. The older 06-08 will never have adblue heater problems coz it aint got it. In an ageing Mercedes - stay away if you can from adblue, air-suspension, DPF, etc.

DonnieR32 - welcome to the club. how many miles is your truck now ? You are in good company. There are more and more diesel posts here. Thats a good thing - more shared experiences and information.
