outside mirror retrofit
I'm looking for a set of custom retrofit door mirrors for 2009 ML320 that offer better visibility, espec for the right door. Anyone come across OEM suppliers of this type of product?

While the video is helpful on how to R&R the mirror assembly, that aftermarket mirror doesn't do anything about the visibility that the OP is looking for in new mirrors. You're probably better off installing European convex mirrors that help you view the blind spot.
You can also try retrofitting the 2011+ style mirrors (but try them out first on another car to see if it's what you're looking for). But that's much more costly.
