2011 ML350 Pics with 22" ML63 Reps

Looking for some help/insight before I make a decision on upgrading the wheels on my wife's ML350.

Has anyone put the 22" PowerWheelsPro 824's (which are ML63 reps) on the W164 ML350?

I am looking for feedback on fitment, ride, looks etc.......

I don't want to start messing around with suspensions etc, so really just looking for how they work on a stock ML.

Thanks for the help....

Cheers

I bought the ML63 style rims in 20's from Powerwheels pro.
I have a thread i started on this forum they use for info.
The 20's were nice and I should've kept them but I thought I sold the car and didn't.

I going to be honest. I think a 22" rim in 9" is too narrow.
The tires will be bulged and not suited to a 22" tire/rim setup
I had 20"x10" from Powerwheelspro and that was a much better setup.
Don't do it. Not in 9's

Thanks Hary

They actually have 22x10 now.....

Do you have any pics of the 20's? This is an option but the ML came with the factory 20's, so it would be much of an upgrade, other than the looks of the rim of course (do prefer the style of the ML63).

Also, where can I find the post you referenced.

Thanks for the help.....

Vasilli was using the photo I took on the lawn for his company shots of the ML63!
Again as I said the wheel itself was built very well and visually a 10.
If you go the 22" I don't think you'll find a nicer wheel.
Here's where I need to warn you though. The W164's looks a little "odd" left at stock suspension height. The 22's are going to look slightly more odd unless you lower the car.
Now you wind up with trade offs. Unless you have Airmatic suspension, going lowered coil springs and 22's are going to get objectionably harsh. One member with coils sold his 22's and went back to 20's
One question you also might want to research is how much heavier a Bluetec is over a 350/500
Good Luck whichever way you go

About 20's, 500's with only the AMG Sport suspension option in 2006 had largest diameter of 19 which is what I already have as OEM on our 500. Only W164 AMG63's had larger rims and they were ultra expensive to replace 21's.

I saw your post in the threads with PWP so I'm guessing you're just looking for photo's. This thread shows the 824's I had just not on the car
FWIW I hope you have better luck with a diesel than most here have had
