aftermarket RUNNING BOARDS
I saw this on e-bay, but not sure about quality and installation. It is a lot cheaper than OEM. Does anyone have this aftermarket?

Hi, I have aftermarket Nerf bar running boards brand new in the box! They will fit a W164. Just looking for 175.00 plus shipping. Direct bolt ons as well. They are made by Vanguard which are really good quality. Let me know if your interested. Attached is a pic. Thanks!

I purchased the aftermarket OEM style running boards off Ebay for around $750. ( They are around $300 now on Ebay) Instillation was pretty simple, just have to take your time and lay all the parts out before you start.Make sure to have good space and lighting. As for the quality, unless I told you they were aftermarket you would never know.

They are stock MB boards on a 2011 M350 I just purchased. I assume there are 'rocker panels' that fill the space the boards occupy. That's what I need. Haven't really thought about selling them until I get them off. Ideal situation would be to find someone wanting running boards and just trade boards for panels.
