P0301 and Air filter box question

I recently got the misfire on cylinder 1 code, so far I have changed all spark plugs and the coil pack for cylinder 1. Still the code persists after several miles of driving not sure what else to change. I recently changed both air filters but noticed the air box does not seal right on each corner of the air filter housing, tried my best to seal it closed but the plastic will only allow so much play, is this normal on the air filter housing for the corners to be ajar?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Drive implies it works, I have an 06 R350
I have the same engine in an R350. My airbox is also a jar, but seems to still be sealed. Love that Chrysler, I mean Mercedes quality.
