Trailer hitch add on question

Hi guys, I'm in the market for a 11 ML350. If I find one I like and it doesn't have a hitch I'll prob go aftermarket for it. Anyone have reviews of the different ones available , and how they accomplish the wiring ? Thanks

Aftermarket Hitch

If you check around on the various "Forums" you will quickly learn that the best way is to have an OEM hitch to begin with.
When I bought my ML it did not have a hitch . Not knowing any better I thought that I will just get an aftermarket hitch at a later date . Almost a decade later I still do not have a hitch on my ML .

ECS Tuning is indeed the best bet. You'll need to ask a member for photo instructions for removing fender cover, replacing the fender frame, and how to connect and run the wiring harness correctly. It is VERY time consuming, but still worth the effort when you see how much and how well it tows. Oh, yeh. Get the SAM code updated, too
