My wife's ML350 got a strange error message on her dash the other day that the left front light was dim. Not sure what it was about, I went to check and sure enough the middle lamp of the 3 in there must have blown a bulb or something.

The last time I had a small light replacement needed for my C350, the local Mercedes dealership said that the entire lamp assembly had to be replaced. Seems like such a waste for a simple lamp replacement, but before I go to the trouble to check my wife's car in for service on this, can anyone tell me if this is a simple DIY fix that I can do myself, or is this one of those expensive replacement jobs that a service center has to do?
