Tire Sizes for W164 ML63
Hello All,
I purchased a 2009 ML63 this past winter with the optional 21" AMG wheel set up. It's time for me to get new tires and I am going to go down to 20" to get a higher sidewall (more beef!) as the ride is a little rough.
I was going to go with a 20" x 10" rim but I was wondering which tire to use?
Recommended is:
295/40R20
but I was thinking of going with:
295/45R20
my reasoning is I can get Yohohama Parada Spec-X All Season tires at that size (which I really like) and a little added cushion for the rough roads I drive on.
My question is do you think I will have any clearance issues, and should I stick with a 295 or go down to a 285 or as low as a 275?
